Dr. William Munn
Recently voted one of Virginia’s top dentists by Virginia Living Magazine, Dr. William B. Munn has been in private practice for over thirty years.
He grew up in Varina where he developed a love for the outdoors, especially fishing.
Dr. Munn graduated with honors from Hampden-Sydney College and continued his education at the MCV-VCU School of Dentistry, graduating with honors.
Dr. Munn is a past president of the Virginia Academy of Dentistry, a member of the Virginia Dental Association, and a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary. He has also been awarded the Pierre Fauchard Award for Dental Excellence and will be awarded the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry in July 2017. In April 2020 Dr. Munn was accepted as a Fellow to the American College of Dentistry.
Outside of work, Dr. Munn enjoys fishing, wine tasting, and spending time with his family.

Wyndi graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Business Administration and has been with Dr. Munn from the beginning.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
Our Hygienists
Rachel
Rachel has been with our practice since 2006. She received her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from VCU School of Dentistry. Rachel loves building a relationship with her patients and making them feel comfortable with their treatment.
While not at work, Rachel loves spending time with her husband and sons. She enjoys being outdoors, at the beach, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Shannon
Shannon is originally from the Varina area. She worked with our practice several years ago and recently had the opportunity and privilege to join Dr. Munn and the Smile Team again. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from VCU. Shannon loves building relationships with her patients and making them understand their treatment options and want to return to see us. When she is not seeing patients, Shannon loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys vacations at the beach and mountains, fishing, festivals, and concerts.

Brenda
Brenda is from the Waverly area and worked in our Petersburg location from 2009-2014 and is now with us in our Sandston location. Brenda has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and has worked as an assistant as well as front office. She works on receivables involving insurance and accounts. In her spare time, Brenda loves spending time with her family, especially fun outings with her grandkids.
